What book influenced or changed your life, how?

Well I have to be honest, there isn't a single book I've read that has influenced me or changed my life.  I have enjoyed books, been moved to tears by books, have gotten angry at what was written in books, but none have influenced me or changed me.  Does that make me weird?  Hope not.

  1. I don't know if this book changed my life but it defiantly turned me back into reading after a few year slump, Twilight. *shakes head* Yeah, I know... but what can I say.

  2. This will probably come of something as a surprise but the book that changed/influenced my life (more than any other) is a non-fiction book. I know we all focus on novels and the fanciful fiction we love to read but The Four Work Week is the book that gets all the credit. I know the title sounds fictional but it really isn’t. Happy Book Blogger Hop Day!

  3. Hey Paula, Hope the holidays treated you well. I think a lot of people in the Hop felt the same from what I have seen. I picked the first that came to mind, but really hundreds of books probably have affected me in ways I don't know.

I am pretty tired tonight. And, tomorrow is our 28th anniversary. I am an old broad! A hot old broad though!
    Ciao! Steph

No book has changed my life either, but several books have opened gates into genres - like Harry Potter and fantasy.
    Happy weekend!

  6. Diana Gabaldon's "OUTLANDER" did it for me. I cannot stop reading since I read her books last October. She is the reason why I started blogging about books. Have a super weekend. I am your newest follower. Come and visit me at www.mandysescape.blogspot.com
