Redemption isn't a word Jim Heron knows much about-his specialty is revenge, and to him, sin is all relative. But everything changes when he becomes a fallen angel and is charge with saving the souls of seven people from the seven deadly sins. And failure is not an option. Vin DiPietro long ago sold his soul to his business, and he's good with that-until fate intervenes in the form of a tough- talking, Harley-riding, self-professed savior. But then he meets a woman who will make him question his destiny, his sanity, and his heart-and he has to work with a fallen angel to win her over and redeem his own soul.

First off, yes it is shy the 500 pgs for my monthly challenge, and even more so since some of those pgs were a sneak peak at Lover Mine!, but that's ok since I've now read 2 books over 400 pgs each ; )

This was a good book.  Ward has done an excellent job of crafting her characters and I really liked them.  Jim Heron, the lead is rough, mysterious, and yet he has a heart and you can't help but warm to him.  I look forward to her others in the series as well.

Watching Vin DiPietro evolve through the story was nice.  Seeing Vin realize there was more to life than his possessions, and that you can love and love deeply was great.  I liked learning a bit about Marie Terese and her life.  What was important to her, what she would do to protect what was hers.

There was enough mystery to keep you going, wondering if everyone was who they presented themselves to be.  A little edge of your seat action so you could worry who would be hurt or not.  All in all I  recommend this book.
