Whacha Reading (June 4th)

Whacha Reading Friday is hosted by moi, Paula here at Tomes every week, so stop by and share what you got going on ; )

Night Embrace (Dark-Hunter, Book 3)
Night Embrace (Dark Hunter Book 3)
Sherrilyn Kenyon
Paperback 416 pgs
St. Martins Paperbacks

I am enjoying #3 in the series.  Ms. Kenyon writes a quick paced book.  That works for me so that I can get through them fast!  I love easy reads, but I don't like too much fluff and so far the Dark Hunters are working great for that.

I like how she ties the characters in and starts introducing you to the other Dark Hunters that will have their own books.  In this one I've met Zarek, Valerius, Vane and Fang.  Of course I like Zarek, the slightly off balanced one!  I think his book is next so yay!

Reading it on my Kindle so I don't know the exact page, but I'm almost at 70% done, I'll knock it off either today or tomorrow, then it's on to Miss Ward's wayward angels in Covet!

So what about you?  Whacha reading, something that's got you on the edge of your seat, or a sleeping pill?

Hey here's a ?, do any of you stop reading a book if it's a real stinker, or do you keep going because you just can't not finish it even if it's bad.  Me, well, life is to short and to busy to waste on real stinkers.  I did it once and never again.  To many good reads out there to waste time on the baddies : )

  1. I definitely put a book down if I don't like it--there are just too many good books out there for me to waste my time! If it is a review book though, I try to force myself to finish it.

Just getting into New Moon by Stephanie Meyer. This is the first time I am reading the Twilight series. Enjoying it so far....
