WWW Wednesday
I'm hosting a new monthly book club *Authors By The Alphabet*. Stop by and join the fun!
Another great meme hosted by the clever Miz B @ Should Be Reading. If ya haven't gone (I highly doubt it), GO!
What are you currently reading?

What are you currently reading?
I am only 60 pgs in and I like it a lot!
What did you recently finish reading?
I enjoyed this book. I'm also hosting a group reading of it *here* if you'd like to join.
What do you think you'll read next?
Aaahhhh, yes, not by my choice I must add. I belong to my sis-in-law's book club and this is what the group chose. I had just told hubs after a trailer for the movie came on that I didn't wanna see it or read it, so I hope my mind is changed after this ; ) I have to make a dish that represents the book for the next mtg too!

Ha, you sound like me in reference to that last one! I am part of a book club and we are supposed to read East of Eden and I really don't want to. I guess it's an improvement from some of the books they make me read. I don't know if I would ever join a book club again.... Well, unless it was my rules and everyone followed them. This one I started and it totally bites because most of the books aren't what I read AND most of the time half the group doesn't read the book so there are 2 people discussing it and everyone else just sit and distract. I think I have book club rage! :D

Heehee Jen, well, I try to read a little of everything with the heavy on pnr and uf. I figure if I hate it my mouth is big enough and opinionated enough that I'll be a bit of a chop buster ;)at the mtg.
ReplyDeleteCome on join in, I'll be posting at least 3 books for us to read. I don't think it'll be that bad.
I'll be interested to hear what you think of Eat, Pray, Love. I certainly didn't drool over it the way the rest of humanity did. I liked her second book better, probably because I can identify more with ambivalence about marriage than I can with country-hopping for a year. (not that I wouldn't love it, mind you).

Oh, and I keep lurking about your new book club idea. :)
Oh, hey I totally bought my copy of Eternal Kiss of Darkness yesterday. So I'm all up and ready for the group read!
